What to do in Opatija when it rains from a local

Opatija one of the most beautiful austo Hungarian towns on the Croatian coast with numerous hotels does offer a few things to do when it rains. The area as a whole actually is very well known to be some of the rainest parts of Croatia. Its meant to rain even more than London!
- Go for a walk around town — Use an umbrella)
- Go to a restaurant (plavi podrum in volosko is fantastic for high end dining!) You can also check out Kaocacao for chocolate cakes in volosko.
- Walk along the lungo mare
- Go to Rijeka (probably the best option). Eat dinner at Grad
